#27 Oh just KALE me now…

Um DELICIOUS! This is super easy recipe that is SO addicting.

I’ve always been a picky eater, as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to experiment more. Trust me, you’ll love it.

Kale is what I call… “pretty lettuce”. Its actually a type of cabbage, but its next to the lettuce in the grocery store, its a leafy green. And well…its kinda pretty.

Kale has a TON of vitamin C and calcium!! Great for you lactos!

3 ingredients needed.

-Kale
-Kosher salt
-Olive oil

Heat oven to 375

Remove kale from stems

Rip the leaves for smaller pieces into a bowl

Drizzle 2 or 3 tbsp of olive oil, hand toss

Sprinkle a few dashes of kosher salt, hand toss

Throw it all on a cookie sheet, stick it in the over for 12-15 minutes

When it comes out, its nice and crispy and TOTALLY satisfies ‘potato chip’ craving. It was just SO so so delicious!

1 cup of baked kale is about 36 calories!

Depending how much salt you use, which shouldn’t be much since kosher salt is stronger, its about 300g of Sodium, about 13% of your daily need.

YUM Enjoy!

  1. You are spot on Dez. Everyone should eat kale. I sautee it in a pan (with oil and salt as well), then scramble an egg in with it. Voila! Veg in your breakfast. And vice versa.
