Did it. Saw Chicago the musical on Broadway. For my Mom’s 50th birthday, I wanted to do something special for her. It’s been many moons since her last trip to NYC and the last time she seen a show was Grease back when John Travolta was still cool. We had a great time. I can’t believe it took this long for me to see it, I loved the movie and I may or may not have danced to ‘Cell Block Tango’ alone in my room with a chair… but, whatever. There is something about plays/shows/theater that have this amazing ability to transport you somewhere else. It inspires me to spark creativity and has an exsistential quality to make me remember our days are numbered so live the HELL out of your life.
And can we just talk about this stud muffin for a minute? I’m not really into drooling over dudes, but I couldn’t stop staring at him. His bum was from heaven. True story. He played Fred Casely and a few other characters that I forgot about because he was too distracting. You hot b*stard you….
